Austen is the founder behind BrightCo Electric, whose story embodies the spirit of innovation, determination, and unwavering commitment to service.
Starting his apprenticeship and earning the Red Seal certification as an electrician with the IBEW (International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers) Local 213, Austen delved into the nuances of commercial and industrial electrical work.
Following his time with the IBEW, he transitioned into a role as a service electrician, working on projects of all sizes. It was during this period that he discovered his passion for running his own electrical business, delivering quality work directly to customers and homeowners.
With over 11 years of experience in both commercial and residential settings, he has honed his skills to perfection.
In his free time, Austen enjoys outdoor activities like camping, running, hiking, canoeing, backpacking, and swimming. He's a people person who appreciates meaningful conversations and the simple joys in life. Spending quality time with his wife and friends while exploring the stunning landscapes of British Columbia is a cherished pastime.
